The Vibrant Mural by Carolina Arrieta at Reserve Labs
Carolina Arrieta is a Peruvian-American artist and designer based in San Diego, California. She studied at ArtCenter College of Design, where she earned a BFA in Art Illustration and Surface Design. Her work blends bold color, organic forms, and playful detail, often drawing inspiration from nature, culture, and the built environment. Today, Carolina is the founder and creative force behind Artebycaro, where she creates custom artwork and design pieces for businesses, brands, and properties around the world.
Reflecting on her work for Reserve Labs, Carolina shared, “For Reserve Labs, I aimed to create a more realistic style while maintaining a playful and fun atmosphere. My artwork for this project features California wildflowers such as fleabane daisies and hibiscus, with a backdrop inspired by the tiger-like stripes found in the Torrey Pines river deltas along the reserve.”
